Turkish Bulgur Pilaf


 - Olive oil  - Bulgur - Onion and garlic - Peppers - Tomatoes - Tomato paste - Salt and pepper

Step 1

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.

Step 2

Add in the peppers and cook for a few minutes.

Step 3

Add in the tomatoes and tomato paste.

Step 4

Add washed bulgur, salt and pepper. Stir well.

Step 5

Add in the water and bring it to a simmer. Cover and cook for 25 minutes.

Step 6

Cover the lid in a towel and cook for another 10 minutes on medium low. Then fluff with a fork.

Serve Turkish bulgur pilaf as a side dish with chicken or beef.
