Lebanese Lentil and Rice

Heat the olive oil in a pan and saute the onion until caramelized and golden. Set it aside. 

Saute onion in olive oil and add the rice and lentils. Season with cumin, salt and cinnamon. 

Add in the water and bring it to a simmer. Cover and cook until the rice is tender and the lentil is cooked. 

Serve and top with more caramelized onion. This is a delicious dish that you can enjoy for lunch or dinner.
