- Chicken thighs - Olive oil - Lemon juice - Garlic - Spices
What you need
In a large bowl mix the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and all the spices. Marinate the chicken in this mixture for at least 30 minutes up to overnight.
Place the chicken pieces on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
At this point the chicken is baked thoroughly and has released juices.
Chop up the chicken and return it to the baking sheet. Bake for another 10 minutes so it becomes crispy.
Make a wrap
Make chicken shawarma wraps with pita, shawarma, fresh salad and a yogurt sauce.
Store the leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
