Ingredients
Bring a pot of water to boil and parboil the rice for 7-8 minutes until tender inside but the outer side of the grain still has a bite.
Drain and mix the rice with the chopped herbs.
Pour the vegetable oil in the pot and cover the bottom with lettuce. Add the rice and form it into a mountain shaped pile.
Place a head of garlic on the rice and top it with more rice.
Pour melted butter mixed with hot water over the rice.
Wrap the lid in a kitchen towel and place it on the pot. Cook for 30-40 minutes on medium-low.
Place the pot in a bowl of cold water for 30 seconds. Then place a plate on top of the pot and flip it. Enjoy.
