Turkish Lahmacun
Ingredients
– Flour, water and salt – Onion and garlic – Red and green peppers – Tomatoes – Parsley – Ground lamb or beef – Tomato paste – Aleppo pepper, cumin, salt and pepper
Blend onion, garlic, peppers, parsley and tomatoes in a food processor (separately), then transfer to a container and mix.
Mix in the ground beef and/or lamb. Add in the tomato paste and spices.
Mix all the ingredients well. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
Make the dough and divide into 12 pieces. Roll out a piece and place in a hot pan, top with the topping and cover with a lid. Let cook for 8 minutes.
Top with herbs, lemon, lemon juice and tomatoes. Roll into a wrap and enjoy!
