Turkish Red Lentil Soup


– Olive oil –  Onion  – Carrots – Tomato paste – Red lentils – Salt, cumin, Aleppo pepper & black pepper – Water

Sauté onion in a pot until translucent. Add in the tomato paste.

Add carrots and lentils. Stir and add in the spices.

Add water and bring to a simmer. Cook for 30 minutes.

Blend in a blender for a few minutes until smooth.
