Simit Bread


- Instant yeast - All purpose flour - Salt and sugar - Vegetable oil  - Grape molasses (or honey) - Sesame seeds

Mix yeast, sugar, salt, all purpose flour, water and oil and knead until no longer sticky.

Cover and let the dough rise for 1.5 hours.

Punch the dough down and divide into 16 pieces.

Roll out two pieces into long tubes and then roll them in opposite directions. Pinch the ends to make a ring.

Dip the rings in the molasses and water mixture and then into the sesame seeds.

Cover and rest for 20 minutes. Then bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes.

Serve with cheese, herbs and nuts for breakfast.
