Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 big onion diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 chicken breast cut into small pieces
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 big carrot sliced
  • 1 big potato cut into chunks
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • ½ cup frozen green peas

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  • Sauté onion and garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add chicken breast and spices. Sauté for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add carrots and potatoes.
  • Add chicken broth. Stir well.
  • Cover the pot with a lid and let cook until chicken is fully cooked.
  • Add frozen peas and cook for additional 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
