- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup water
Caramel syrup
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix sugar and water in a sauce pan and stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Bring the mixture to boil and let it simmer without stirring it until the mixture has the consistency of simple syrup, about 6 minutes.
Cool and use in your coffee. Pour the leftovers into a jar and refrigerate.
