Lemon Ginger Shrimp Orzo

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked orzo
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 24 uncooked frozen shrimps thawed and shelled
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 cubes DOROT Crushed Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Juice of one lemon
  • cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Cook orzo according to the package. Set aside.
  • While orzo is cooking, heat vegetable oil in a pan, sear the shrimps two minutes on each side until cooked through. Set aside.
  • Melt butter in a small pan, add Dorot Crushed Ginger and salt. Stir for a minute.
  • Add orzo to a pan and add half of the butter and ginger mixture and half of the lemon juice to it. Stir well.
  • Mix the rest of the butter ginger and lemon juice with the cooked shrimps and place them on top of the orzo.
  • Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve warm.
