Air Fried Halibut with Spicy Mango Salsa

Air fried halibut is ready in less than 30 minutes. Pair it with a spicy mango salsa for the perfect dinner.

Ingredients

Spicy Mango Salsa

  • 1 mango finely diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper diced
  • 1/2 red onion finely diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro finely chopped
  • 1/2 jalapeno seeds removed and finely diced
  • 1 lime juice of
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  • Mix lemon juice, black pepper, chili pepper, cumin, salt and olive oil in a bowl and pour it over halibut. Cover and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  • While the fish is marinating, make the salsa by mixing the mango, bell pepper, red onion, cilantro and jalapeno in a bowl. Add in the lime juice and salt. Stir well to combine, cover and refrigerate until you are ready to serve it with the fish.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F. Place the halibut pieces in the air fryer and cook for 10-15 minutes until the fish flakes easily using a fork.
  • Serve air fried halibut with spicy mango salsa.

Notes

  • Store the leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days. 
  • You can serve this dish as tacos with some sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. 
  • Leave out the jalapeno if you don't like the salsa to be spicy. You can use other hot peppers such as red chili or serrano pepper.
