Grilled Date and Halloumi Skewers
Date Halloumi skewers are the perfect appetizer for any day! Salty halloumi cheese paired with soft and sweet medjool dates make the perfect combination and everyone will come back for seconds!

- 1 block Halloumi cheese 8 oz
- 12 Medjool Dates
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup fresh mint
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
Preheat the grill to medium high.
Cut the halloumi cheese into 12 pieces. Make sure to dry each piece very well using a paper towel.
If the dates are not pitted, open them using a small knife and remove the pit.
Thread the halloumi cubes and dates on skewers. For each skewer use 2 dates and 2 halloumi cubes.
Brush the cheese with the olive oil.
Place the skewers on the grates and rill for 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
Arrange the mint on a platter, place the skewers and top with honey and pistachios. Serve warm.
