Shawarma Sauce (Greek Yogurt Tahini Sauce)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 clove Garlic grated
  • 1 Lemon juiced
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp Water optional

Instructions

  • Place the Greek yogurt, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, parsley and water in a bowl.
  • Whisk until well-incorporated. Add more water if the sauce is too thick.
  • Refrigerate for 20 minutes, add garnish, and serve.

Customizable Consistency: If you prefer a thinner sauce, gradually add water or lemon juice until you reach the desired consistency. This is especially useful if you’re drizzling the sauce over a salad.
