Strawberry Vinaigrette Recipe

A refreshing spring or summer dressing, this vinaigrette packs amazing flavors in a few simple ingredients and steps.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Strawberries     
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp Dried basil
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the strawberries. Cut them into quarters and place them in a jar.
  • Add the balsamic vinegar, dried basil, olive oil and salt.
  • Using an immersion blender, blend the ingredients until smooth and well combined. Alternatively, you can use a food processor or a blender.
  • Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Shake well before using.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter vinaigrette, add a small amount of honey or maple syrup. Taste and adjust as needed.
  • If the vinaigrette is too tangy, add a pinch of sugar or a splash more olive oil to balance the acidity.
