Date Coffee Smoothie
A two-in-one morning pick-me-up drink that combines your favorite instant coffee with sweet dates and other great energizing and filling ingredients.

- 2 Banana
- 4 Medjool dates pitted
- 2 tsp Chia seeds
- 2 tsp Flax seeds
- 2 tbsp Tahini
- 2 tbsp Instant coffee
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup Ice
Place the banana, pitted dates, chia seeds, flax seeds, tahini, instant coffee, milk and ice in a blender.
Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute until all the ingredients are completely blended and you have a smooth mixture.
Serve immediately.
Pre-soak Dates: To ensure the dates blend smoothly, soak them in warm water for 10-15 minutes before blending. This softens them and makes them easier to incorporate, resulting in a smoother texture.
Freeze Banana Slices: For a thicker and creamier smoothie, freeze banana slices beforehand. Frozen bananas add a frosty texture and eliminate the need for extra ice, enhancing the overall consistency of the drink.
Adjust Coffee Strength: Tailor the intensity of the coffee flavor to your preference by adjusting the amount of instant coffee used. Start with the recommended quantity and add more for a stronger coffee taste or less for a milder flavor profile.
