Grilled Lamb Chops Recipe

  • In a bowl mix the olive oil, garlic, lemon, cilantro, oregano and seven spice. Add in the lamb chops and mix to make sure all pieces are coated with the marinade.
  • Cover the bowl and marinate for 30 minutes up to 2 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to medium high. Take the lamb chops out of the fridge, season with salt and let them to come to room temperature.
  • When the grill is ready, place the lamb chops on the grates and grill for about 3 minutes on each side for medium. If you prefer medium well, grill for 4 minutes on each side.

Notes

  • Lamb chops are so tender when grilled to medium. Medium well or well done lamb chops would be a bit chewy. 
  • You can make homemade seven spice blend or use store-bought. 
  • You can freeze marinated lamb chops up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight, bring to room temperature and then grill according to the instructions.
