    A Day in A Blogger's Life

Published: Jan 11, 2019 · Modified: Nov 11, 2019 by Shadi HasanzadeNemati · This post may contain affiliate links .

Have you ever wondered what’s going on behind the screen? Take a glance at my blogging life and see how I get things done.

This post has been sponsored by Well Yes!® Sipping Soups. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Today I’m going to tell you about a day in my professional life, even though no two days are the same when you’re running your own business. Also, you’re going to see how Well Yes!® Sipping Soups save the day when we’re too busy and are looking for a quick snack. These nutritious sipping soups are absolutely perfect for the on-the-go lifestyle of a busy business owner!

    What does a blogger do?

A food blogger creates and promotes content on her website. We develop recipes, cook them, photograph them and write posts for each of them. Recipe developing includes working on the concept and then testing the recipe a few times to perfect it. After all, we always want to make sure that the readers make recipes that are foolproof and no-fail.

How’s a day in your life?

There’s a lot of variety in this line of work. If it’s a shooting day, we probably have done our grocery shopping the day before, printed and planned the recipes with timing and have everything ready.

My team helps me set up the camera, table, props and all the ingredients we need. Depending on the time of year, we cook and shoot anywhere between 3 to 7 recipes in one day. This usually takes between 6 to 8 hours and once the work is done and the kitchen is clean. We start classifying the photos and videos and plan the edits.

If it’s an office day, after breakfast my colleagues and I sit behind our laptops and start the day. We start with checking and replying to all the emails from readers and clients. Then we move to edits, both photos and text which takes the most time of the day. Once that’s done, I sometimes go on a call with a client. These are the days that we also work on recipe concepts, analyze our work and discuss ways to improve our work.

These days can be pretty busy and I usually just want a quick snack to keep going. Well Yes!® Sipping Soups are perfect for those times. These on-the-go soups have no artificial flavors or colors and they’re ready in two minutes. I love the tomato and sweet basil flavor and also sweet corn and roasted poblano. Having such an easy, nutritious snack on hand makes crazy busy days much simpler, especially because I can carry the soup with me!

How do you get to do all of this?

It takes a lot of planning to run your own business. I plan every day ahead of time to make sure all the tasks will get done on time. Running your own business means working overtime on a regular basis, so it’s also important to make time for yourself, take a step back, observe your business and then walk in again with an open mind. Educating yourself every step of the way is also very crucial because things change and update in our industry every day and you don’t want to miss out. It’s never late for learning!

I'd love to one day have a team of helpers but for now it's just me working on my blog! That soup sounds like such a great idea! Looks delicious too!

It's so easy not to eat when you're so busy -- even if you're starving. The day gets away from us. This is a great solution and the Tomato Basil does sound delicious. Fun post to read as I can totally relate. 🙂

Well I totally get the "day in a life". I am a one person show (well, with a little help from hubby). A bloggers day is long for sure. Sipping some soup can mean the difference of eating lunch (or dinner) to not. Depending on the day!!
