And for today, I have this honey rose water fruit salad for you. Naturally sweetened – I mean, honey is the best sweetener ever right? And of course, naturally dairy and gluten free because I just couldn’t put myself together to add cheese to this fruit salad and serve it on bread. So, there you go. Healthy and fabulous!

Just look at these gorgeous colors. Don’t you want to have it all?

Like all the other fruit salads out there, this honey rose water fruit salad is so simple to make. What makes this fruit salad special is the sauce. Honey rose water sauce is originated by spring Persian flavors and aromas such as orange blossom water and rose water. Of course cardamom is a key ingredient in this sauce as it compliments other ingredients very well. It’s like adding a new layer of flavor to this fruit salad.

That’s why I say this honey rose water fruit salad is like having an Iranian summer in a bowl!

Even though I’m usually not picky about the ingredients and have told you many times to go with whatever you have, for this honey rose water fruit salad I suggest that you use the fruit I have mentioned in the recipe as their flavors combine very well with the sauce. Tangy kiwi with sweet pineapple and then juicy oranges that compliments the aroma of orange blossom water. I think we all know this is going to be a heavenly fruit salad.

I’ve made this salad annually for the company BBQ / Potluck three years running. I switch up the fruits depending on what’s on sale and available. But you must get your hands on the rose water and orange blossom water – the dressing is absolutely fabulous! Thanks for a magical recipe.

    1. Thank you so much for this comment! I’m so happy to know this is your go-to recipe!

  2. Could the orange blossom water be omitted? I know I can find rose water in the specialty section of my grocer but not that.

This recipe is divine. I used maple syrup instead of honey and it was delicious. The basic quantity of syrup for 4 people was enough for eight serves. Thank you for making my boring fruit salad into something amazing
