Start your morning with an all-time favorite fall dessert flavored smoothie. Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is naturally sweetened and tastes just like pumpkin pie!
How are you? Has your week been good? Mine has been good and, not so good.
Some days I’m super productive, cooking up a storm and shooting many recipes in just a couple of hours, then spend the rest of the day editing photos and writing recipes. Some other days, I barely make a cup of tea for myself and edit a couple of photos. These days don’t happen very often but if they do, I won’t feel good about them because these are not the days that I “decide” not to work and give myself a break, these are the days that I just “can’t” get myself to work.
I had one of these days this week and didn’t like it, it started with me doing nothing the whole day and finished with me having a massive headache all night long. That’s not how I like to spend my days because I know very well that each day that passes will never come back. So, I needed to start my days in a better way, I’m trying to keep a routine for my mornings that keeps me happy, active and motivated. The first step is to exercise at least 3 mornings per week. So far, I’ve done this part pretty well.
Next, I want to have a good breakfast and drink my favorite Persian tea. Now, this is the step I’m not very good at, which is surprising because I have my favorite breakfast recipes here such as sweet and spicy breakfast toast or Pumpkin Pie Almond Oatmeal. I usually just turn the laptop on and start answering the emails and working on the blog or, if it’s a recipe developing day, I just start cooking right away without having breakfast, which is not good.
So I’m trying to make more smoothies and have them for breakfast as they are quick and really delicious. Another reason for smoothies? I really like my blender. I find any excuse to use it daily!
One smoothie that I like to have more for breakfast is this pumpkin pie smoothie because it satisfies my sweet tooth without making me feel too full. It’s naturally sweetened thanks to frozen banana and it’s made with fresh homemade pumpkin puree.
I bet you will like this pumpkin pie smoothie as much as I do. It gives a nice boost in the morning and you feel like you had a piece of pumpkin pie for breakfast! Is there anything better than dessert for breakfast?
