If you live in the U.S, you can usually find ground beef with different fat percentages from 3% to 25%. Depending on your preference and recipe, you can choose different ones. I usually get lean ground beef unless I’m making kabobs or burgers.
How to store ground beef?
If using within one or two days, you can store it in its original packaging in the refrigerator. You can also portion out the ground beef, transfer into freezer safe bags and freeze for up to 4 months.
